AMOA Christmas Party Donation 2024
We had our AMOA Christmas party at the Bodnar’s Private Museum on Saturday December 7, 2024 and we had 29 people attend the event. The donation of $20.00/person for entrance to the Museum is going to be paid by the AMOA, as per a motion at the November meeting and approved. The Charity for the Christmas Party donation of $20.00/person is the Veteran’s Association Food Bank and we raised $580.00 for them. Ron sent in the money in and received the tax receipt for the donation, which he topped up to $600.00.

The meal was a Potluck dinner, which everybody contributed to and there was a wide variety of food, which was very good.

There was time before dinner to check out the Museum as well as after the Gift Exchange.

The Gift Exchange went well with not too much of stealing gifts, until near the end and then there a bit more of trying to get the gift that everybody wanted. In support of Dwayne P. who had received two cans of baked beans at last year's party as a gag gift, it was decided to put a can of beans in the gifts if you chose to do so and show some empathy for him this year and 17 cans of beans were collected overall and have now been donated to the Edmonton’s Food Bank.

The Alberta Mustang Owners Association has been in existence since 1979. During this time we have grown to become one of the largest Mustang/Ford clubs in the province of Alberta. This is due to the strength and character of our membership and executives. Our association consists of Mustangs from 1964 1/2 through to present, Shelby’s, Cougars, Thunderbirds, Galaxies, Fairlanes, Model A & T, Torino’s and Cyclone’s, just to mention a few. You do not even have to own a vehicle to belong in our club. Show quality is not a necessity either.
Cars & Coffee
Cars & Coffee is held on the 2nd Saturday of the month.

10am til noon at the A&W on 149 Street & 111 Avenue.
They have a large parking lot, so bring out your Mustang or other Ford and have a coffee or breakfast with other AMOA members. Any other Ford fans are welcome to join us.
The next Cars & Coffee will be held on Saturday January 11, 2025.

AMOA Donation 2024
At the November Annual General Meeting we had a discussion on if we want to make a donation to a charity this year. Dwayne Rae made a motion for the AMOA to make a donation of $1,500.00 to the Edmonton’s Food Bank. Daryl seconded the motion. The motion was passed.
On November 23, 2024, I went to the Edmonton’s Food Bank and dropped of the donation cheque to them, which they were very appreciative.
